Meet Mrs. Yates
This  was our old gray
house that I grew up in.
My mom loved to garden.
I have memories of her
wrinkled knees that she
earned from playing with
the Tiger Lillies and
Roses Sharon.
This is me as a baby.  My mom says that you can tell its me by my eyes.  The picture on
the right is of me and my older brother David.  I remember riding around in my
Pappy's blue truck.  Look at the color of that blue!  You can't really find a truck that
color any more.
Here is a picture of me and my sister Jasmine on
my very first day of Kindergarten.  If you look
closely at my face, it looks as if I am mad about
going to school.  I loved school, so that couldn't
be it.  I really think it was because my mom
dressed me and my sister like twins (in dresses)
and I hated that!
When I was young, we would visit Ocean City
almost every summer.  I have always been a beach
girl!  (That's part of the reason why I moved to
Virginia Beach.)  The picture on the right is me in
Ocean City on my very first plane ride.  I
remember looking out the window and seeing
ponies.

I grew up on a farm in
Oldtown, MD. This was
the best place in the
world to grow up.  Sixty
acres of fields, ponds,
animals, and woodland was
the best playground I
could have ask for.

When I was in high school, I
was involved in lots of
Musicals.  I performed in such
shows as Anything Goes,
Show Boat, The Sound of
Music, Cabaret, Chicago, The
Medium, Evita, and several
others.  I absolutely love to
sing!
