K.I.D. Book
What Is A K.I.D. Book?
A K.I.D. book stands for Keeping
Informed Daily.  This is a
multipurpose home/school folder.
How do I use the K.I.D. book?
The K.I.D. book is taken home and
returned to school everyday.  
Parents should check the book
each day and the book will be
checked each morning by the
student and teacher.
Inside Cover
The inside cover of the K.I.D.
book will be for Super Duper
Papers to Keep At Home.  Please
take these out each night.
Money/ Card Pouch
This pouch will be used to
transport any money to or from
school.  It will also house cards
such as sight words or flash cards.
Important Papers
This clear plastic sheet will
provide a place to carry important
notes/papers to and from parents
and teachers.
Homework
This clear plastic sheet will
provide a place to carry homework
to and from school.
Sticker Book
This clear plastic sheet will
provide a place to carry the
sticker book to and from school.
Parents should look at this nightly
to see what color card your child
received that day.  Please return
this daily, as well.
Other Important Info.
Other sheets will be included in
the K.I.D. book, such as a
birthday list, resource schedule,
and class directory.  Other sheets
may be added later in the year.
K.I.D. Book Rules
There will be a sheet included
within the book that will review
the rules for caring for your
K.I.D. book.
F.F.O.
The inside back cover of the K.I.D. book
will hold the F.F.O.  (Folder For
Organization).  This is a yellow folder that
will be sent home on Thursdays and should
be returned on Friday.  The information
that comes in the F.F.O. comes from the
P.T.A. or the administration.
Parent Signature
The back of the folder will hold a sheet for
parents to sign.  This signature shows me
that the K.I.D. book was looked at and
emptied if necessary.  Please sign this daily.
